A CONCEPT BECOMES A REALITY
Hybrid technology
Lexus has spent years developing and refining its hybrid technology to create Lexus Hybrid Drive. This dynamic power plant will power the CT 200h and represents the most advanced hybrid technology available.Competing manufacturers in the luxury market have created a great deal of confusion as to the advantages of a full hybrid, such as those offered by Lexus, as opposed to mild hybrids offered by rivals.
By doing so, they are hiding the fact that they are a long way behind what Lexus can offer its drivers today. The new CT 200h reinforces Lexus' leading position and will continue to distance Lexus from any other luxury vehicle manufacturer as the only one to offer a range of full hybrid vehicles to discerning buyers.
L finesse design philosophy
The fluid body styling of the new CT 200h presents a powerful
evolution of Lexus's L finesse design philosophy, from the visual
harmony between the interior and exterior design, through to
leading-edge engineering and technology. Its full hybrid powertrain delivers all the performance
expected from a premium compact hatchback, with low fuel
consumption, CO2 and NOx
emissions. The car can be driven in full electric EV mode
allowing for urban driving with minimal noise and zero
emissions.
The CT 200h will be available from the first half 2011.
