- Driver Fatigue Monitor (DFM)3
Driver Fatigue Monitor is located behind the steering wheel and can monitor both inattentiveness (driver's eyes not on the road) or drowsiness using two infrared LEDS with a camera focused on the driver's face.
- Blind-Spot Monitor (BSM)3
Blind-Spot Monitor uses two rear-mounted radar sensors to detect other vehicles in either adjacent lane and warn the driver if there is a vehicle in the 'blind spot' on either side.
- All-speed Active Cruise Control (ACC)4
ACC allows LS vehicles to come to a complete stop and drive away without the need to disengage cruise control. Managed by the LS' standard millimetre-wave radar-based ACC and Pre-Collision safety System (PCS), ACC continuously monitors the road ahead to gauge distances and the speed of vehicles in front. When the system is active and a preceding vehicle comes to a gradual stop, All-speed ACC will bring the LS to a halt within a safe distance behind it. When the preceding vehicle starts to accelerate away a message will be shown in the Multi Information Display asking if the driver would like to resume cruise control.
