LEXUS LAUNCHES UPGRADED SC430 CONVERTIBLE
Lexus has face-lifted and further refined its European-designed SC430 retractable-hardtop coupe.The face-lifted SC430 has a new six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission to complement its 4.3-litre VVT-i Quad Cam V8 engine.
It also adopts the driving aid of Lexus' Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), an intelligent headlamp system for improved visibility on winding roads using the vehicle's high-intensity discharge low-beam headlamps.
Visual enhancements to Lexus SC430 run the full gamut, from new bodywork and wheels to five new exterior colours.
The new exterior colours include Platinum Silver, Crystal Garnet, Crystal Sand and Celestial.
A new interior colour, Golden Tan, has replaced Tan.
SC430 has new satin-finish five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and new side-turn lamps.
Front styling improvements include a new, lower radiator grille with six horizontal bars, redesigned headlamps and a new, bolder front bumper with a chrome centre bar in the foglamp recesses.
SC430's new rear styling provides an increased sense of width and luxury image, with a new horizontal arrangement for the rear combination lamps and new reversing lamps.
The new rear combination lamps have a deep two-step construction, with clear lenses for the turn signal lamps.
The upgraded Lexus SC430 has an RRP of $160,900, excluding dealer delivery and all on-road costs.
