LEXUS LS460 - THE LUXURY EXPRESS
Lexus will unveil its new generation flagship, the LS460, in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2006.Inside, the all-new LS460 bears a striking resemblance to the interior of a private jet, with high levels of luxury refinement and advanced on-board technologies.
The LS460 cabin is divided into four independent areas, with the architecture of the seats and door trims designed to securely envelop each occupant.
LS460 comes with a 450-watt 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system for peerless in-car entertainment.
Additionally, rear seat passengers can enjoy music videos and DVD films within the luxurious environment of the new flagship interior, courtesy of a nine-inch headliner-mounted full-colour rear LCD screen.
LS460 also features a heated steering wheel as well as body-heat sensors that, in tandem with the climate control system, help maintain the ideal temperature for all occupants.
Additional luxury convenience features include a power rear-door closer and an automatic-powered opening/closing trunk lid.
LS460 has been designed with precise attention given to the finest detail.
Each lid installed throughout the car's interior opens in the same direction and speed, with universally consistent damping. The operation of every motor-driven component has been carefully tuned to ensure uniformity of loudness and tone quality.
Even the stitching pattern of the steering wheel thumb contact area has been carefully revised to offer the smoothest feel.
The LS460 is the strongest representation yet of Lexus' unique L-finesse design philosophy.

LS460 will be launched in Australia in November 2006.
