Continued strong demand for new Lexus product has resulted in another record-breaking sales result for the luxury brand in February.
Lexus sold 816 vehicles for the month, an impressive 30 per cent increase on the February 2015 figure.
Lexus Australia chief executive Peter McGregor said the February sales achievement followed on from a record-breaking January to continue Lexus' early 2016 sales momentum.
"Lexus has already sold 1451 vehicles in 2016, which is not only very impressive - it's unprecedented," Mr McGregor said.
"These numbers confirm that our dynamic product with progressive interior and exterior styling, engaging driving dynamics and high levels of standard specification are providing a compelling proposition in the luxury marketplace."
Mr McGregor said interest in Lexus models was further validated by the high number of orders for new vehicles including the RX SUV.
"We are delighted there is so much enthusiasm for our new models across the board, and orders for RX underline the desirability of this impressive vehicle in the segment," Mr McGregor added.
The result comes after Lexus achieved first place in the US-based J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Survey for the fifth year in a row and won the Car Manufacturer category of the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for the second successive year.
