Ethanol and your Lexus
Lexus displays an overriding concern for the environment through cleaner emissions and the use of renewable energy resources. To that end, most models have been engineered to perform on 'E10', or unleaded petrol blended with 10% ethanol. The exception is IS200 models built prior to 2002, due to incompatibility with fuel system materials.
CAUTION: Use of ethanol blends greater than 10% are neither approved nor recommended in any Lexus.
