Our vision

Our aim is to help design the future - by delivering environmentally sustainable vehicles, enriching our community with sustainable thought and partnering with aligned ambassadors and collaborators.

Put simply: by 2050, Lexus aims to achieve carbon neutrality throughout the lifecycle of its entire model line-up – from the manufacturing of materials, parts and vehicles, to vehicle logistics, through to the final disposal and recycling of older vehicles.

The launch activities of the first ever all-electric Lexus, the UX 300e, have achieved Climate Active1 certification.

This has been achieved by purchasing Australian Carbon Credit Units generated by Indigenous fire management and bush regeneration projects. These units are Climate Active1 compliant and provided by our offset partner TEM - Asia Pacific’s largest and most trusted carbon offset provider.

The sustainable journey

Our people

Lexus Australia continues to work on initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of a global society.

Our business activities and the actions of our people bring us closer to meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our employees are taking part in the Zero Co. Work Waste Challenge, pledging to remove single-use plastic in the workplace and at home.

Cleaner future

Following the introduction of the All-Electric UX in November 2021, more than 10 new electrified vehicles will be introduced by 2025 as part of the ‘Lexus Electrified’ vision.

By mid-decade, electric variants will be offered in all Lexus models.

With a clear mission to achieve carbon neutrality, Lexus will reduce the environmental impact of material-manufacturing processes.

And as our fleet electrifies, we will continue the transition to providing vehicle e-brochures - eliminating the paper from your desk, and from harming our environment.
